• In personal care: propylene glycol diheptanoate & stearyl heptanoate
• In pharmaceutical gel: neopentylglycol diheptanoate.
• Thanks to its good anti-corrosion properties and its unique performance level at high and low temperatures, the  n-heptanoic acid and its ester is mainly used in refrigeration lubricants, aviation, automobile.
• Its ester derivatives are used in the fragrance and flavour industries as well as cosmetics
• It is used to prepare sodium heptanoate, which is used as a corrosion inhibitor.
